My 19-Day Glasses Nightmare: A Warning to All Online Shoppers! 🚨
I'm writing this because I had an absolutely terrible online shopping experience, and I want to warn everyone to avoid making the same mistake. I ordered glasses on March 30th and even paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses broke, leaving me desperate. Days turned into weeks, and my order was stuck "in production." By day 11, I had to call and ask for a shipping refund because these glasses were still nowhere in sight, with an estimated delivery another six days out! It was incredibly frustrating; I felt compelled to reach out to customer service to understand why my order was so delayed and to get a resolution for the shipping fee I paid for a service that was clearly not delivered. This company is terrible, and they clearly don't give a crap about their customers.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I placed it on March 30th and paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping because I really needed them. It's now over two weeks later, and they're still not here.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delay, sir/ma'am. Let me pull up your order for you. [Order Number], correct?
Customer: Yes, that's it. It’s been stuck in production for ages. I already had to call once to get a refund for the express shipping, but that doesn't fix the fact that I'm still without glasses. What's going on?
CS Rep: I see here that the order did experience an unforeseen delay in the production phase. We deeply apologize for this inconvenience, especially since you paid for expedited delivery. It shows the shipping fee was refunded on April 11th. I will check the current status and see if we can escalate the shipping for you immediately.
Customer: Escalate? I just want my glasses. I paid for a service you didn't provide, and I've been waiting for ages. This is unacceptable. When can I actually expect them? Day 19 or whatever, and still no glasses is just ridiculous.
